On September 10, the 12th Asia Pacific Energy Sustainability High-end Forum and APEC Energy Ministers Dialogue Business Forum were held in Beijing. As an active proponent and staunch practitioner of APEC energy cooperation, China initiated the establishment of the APEC Sustainable Energy Center at the 11th APEC Energy Ministers Meeting in 2014. Over the past 12 years, with support from all parties, the APEC Sustainable Energy Center has continued to play the role of a think tank and platform based on the energy transformation and sustainable development needs of the Asia-Pacific region, contributing important public goods to the Asia-Pacific region. China is ready to work with member economies, rely on the APEC energy cooperation mechanism, give full play to the role of APEC's sustainable energy center, deepen mutual trust, and jointly push the sustainable energy development of the Asia-Pacific region to a new level.
