Shares of AeroVironment, Inc. (NASDAQ:AVAV) rose sharply in pre-market trading after the company posted better-than-expected first-quarter results.

AeroVironment posted first-quarter revenue of $480.49 million, beating analyst estimates of $456.20 million, according to Benzinga Pro. The drone maker reported adjusted earnings of 59 cents per share for the quarter, beating estimates of 24 cents per share.

AeroVironment shares jumped 5.8% to $149.00 in pre-market trading.

• SUNation Energy Inc. (NASDAQ:SUNE) fell 15.1% to $3.83 in pre-market trading. SUNation Energy shares jumped 90% on Wednesday after the company announced the completion of an $835 million capital raise comprising both debt and equity financing.
• The Cooper Companies, Inc. (NASDAQ:COO) declined 15% to $53.97 in pre-market trading as the company reported mixed third-quarter financial results and cut its FY26 guidance below estimates.
