The Jericho, New York-based company said it had a loss of 82 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 80 cents per share.

The flower and gift retailer posted revenue of $293.1 million in the period, falling short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $293.6 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $134.8 million, or $2.11 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.5 billion.
