Hinman Vineyards, one of Oregon’s pioneering wineries, along with Tior, its premium, limited-production label, have partnered with Banville Wine Merchants for distribution in Oregon. The partnership marks a significant step for the Hinman family during their first full season back at the helm of the winery they originally founded in 1979. By joining forces with Banville, Hinman and Tior ensure their portfolios will be deeply represented in their own Pacific Northwest backyard by a distributor renowned for its focus on high-quality, authentic family-driven brands.

"As the second generation stepping into this 50-year story, rebuilding our footprint in the Pacific Northwest requires partners who truly understand where we’ve been and where we’re going," said Hinman and Tior owner Chelsea Hinman Miller, who leads wholesale operations for both brands. "Banville operates with integrity, authenticity and a deep respect for family legacy, while sharing our belief that local representation matters most. I truly believe Banville is the perfect partner to help us carry this next chapter forward."

Banville Wine Merchants, founded in 2004 by Lia Tolaini-Banville and her late father, Pier Luigi "Louie" Tolaini, is itself a multi-generational, family-owned business. Today, Lia's children have joined the leadership team, mirroring the multi-generational homecoming taking place at Hinman.

"We’re thrilled to welcome Hinman Vineyards and Tior Wines into our Oregon wholesale portfolio," said Tina Rivara, Pacific Northwest Sales Manager for Banville Wine Merchants. "At Banville, we purposefully choose to align with independent partners who share our core familial values. The Hinman family’s 50-year legacy in the Willamette Valley is historic, and their energy and vision for Tior represent exactly the type of authentic, next-generation growth we love to support. We look forward to strengthening their presence on wine lists and retail shelves across Oregon."

The new distribution agreement takes effect immediately, ensuring Tior’s award-winning Willamette Valley wines are widely accessible to wholesale accounts throughout Oregon. Hinman Vineyards, having been recently reacquired by the Hinman family, will release new wines under its own label later this year.
