Oracle Stock Pops After Q1 Earnings Print, Cloud Revenue Jumps 62%

Oracle Corp. (NYSE:ORCL) posted its fiscal 2027 first-quarter results after Thursday’s closing bell, beating estimates across the board and raising its fiscal-year earnings guidance.

Here’s a look at the key figures from the quarter.

Oracle Q1 Details       

Oracle reported quarterly earnings of $1.92 per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.74 by 10.34%, per Benzinga Pro data. 

Quarterly revenue clocked in at $19.35 billion, which beat the Street estimate of $19.14 billion and was up from $14.93 billion in the same period last year.

Oracle reported the following first-quarter highlights:

  • Record Q1 Total Cloud Revenues up 62% in USD and up 61% in constant currency to $11.6 billion.
  • Q1 Cloud Infra (IaaS) Revenue up 121% in USD and up 120% in constant currency to $7.4 billion.
  • Q1 Cloud Apps (SaaS) Revenue up 10% in USD and constant currency to $4.2 billion.
  • Remaining Performance Obligations (RPO) up $209 billion year-over-year to $664 billion

Looking Ahead

Oracle said second-quarter Total Cloud revenue is expected to grow between 64% and 70% in constant currency.

Oracle raised its fiscal adjusted EPS guidance from $8.05 to $8.10, versus the $8.07 analyst estimate. The company expects full-year revenue to be more than $90 billion, versus the $89.79 billion estimate.

ORCL Stock Price: According to data from Benzinga Pro, Oracle stock was up 6.64% to $163.10 in Thursday’s extended trading.
