On September 10, local time, Google announced the launch of the Gemini Windows desktop application, which supports Windows 10 and Windows 11. Gemini can be quickly invoked through the “Alt+Space” shortcut, and AI help can be directly obtained in the current work interface. The application supports multi-step task processing, can call information from applications such as Gmail and Google Drive to generate content, and supports image generation through Nano Banana and video generation using Gemini Omni. Google said more native desktop features will be rolled out one after another.
