12:10 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Enel (ENEL.MI) completed the acquisition of an 810-megawatt solar plant portfolio in the US from Excelsior Energy Capital for $760 million following a February agreement. The agreement covered a portfolio of wind and solar plants with a total installed capacity of over 1 gigawatt and an enterprise value of $1.3 billion, the energy company said Thursday. Enel added that the acquisition of the remaining 205 megawatts of wind capacity is expected to close by the fourth quarter.
