01:17 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- UBS Global Research expects Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI.BR, ANH.JO), d/b/a AB InBev, to highlight its expansion into non-beer categories alongside its other growth strategies at its upcoming investor event. "ABI will host a Capital Markets Day in St Louis, US, on 22-23rd Sept 2026, three years since its last event in Mexico City. We expect the event to showcase how the consistency of the Megabrand strategy over recent years is now contributing to a superior earnings growth profile. It is the first event since the SABMiller transaction in which ND/EBITDA is comfortably <3x, making the stock more appealing to a far wider investor profile. We also expect the event to highlight the beyond beer transformation in the US (including global potential); superior leverage through the [profit and loss] beyond EBITDA growth; further disclosures on the marketplace business and cash return optionality," analysts said Thursday. The research firm estimates the Belgium-based brewer's Beyond Beer segment could reach 10% of the company's US sales in full-year 2026, driven by organic growth in Cutwater, the BeatBox majority stake acquisition and Nutrl. UBS added that this "solid portfolio" helps position the company in a category expanding at 20%. "If ABI can grow in line with category, this can offset structural headwinds of core beer category and still support overall US revenue growth, addressing a key part of bear case over past 20 years. If the largest US alcohol company can show growth in the US at the worst point in history of US alcohol consumption, this can have a positive halo effect on the overall alcohol sector," the note said. UBS rates the stock at buy, with a price target of 90 euros.
