Swiss Consumer Confidence Improves in August

03:06 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Switzerland's consumer sentiment index rose to -32.8 points in August from -34.8 points in July, according to data from the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs published Friday. Analysts expected -33 points for the month. In the previous year, the index stood at -39.9 points.
