04:17 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kefi Gold and Copper (KEFI.L) said Friday it will not resume development activities at its Tulu Kapi gold project in Ethiopia until it completes an investigation into a recent serious security incident and adopts measures to ensure safe operations. The security force's bush camp of the gold and copper exploration and development company and its old exploration camp at the site were invaded and destroyed earlier in September. One Kefi Gold employee was killed, along with other individuals.
