04:27 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kudelski's (KUD.SW) Nagravision and MediaTek signed an agreement to integrate hardware-anchored content security into connected TVs, providing broadcast-grade protection for streaming services rather than relying on software alone. The Swiss cybersecurity company's unit will embed its secure element in all future TV system-on-chips MediaTek manufactures, according to a Friday release. The technology will continue to support traditional broadcast and streaming services, while targeting piracy risks and threats that exploit artificial intelligence and quantum computing.
