Shares of RH (NYSE:RH) rose sharply in pre-market trading after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter earnings.

RH reported quarterly earnings of $2.70 per share, which beat the Street estimate of $1.78 by 51.69%, per Benzinga Pro data. Quarterly revenue of $922.15 million missed the analyst consensus estimate of $936.25 million, but was up from $899.15 million in the same period last year. 

RH shares jumped 8.2% to $145.00 in pre-market trading.
