05:20 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- TotalEnergies (TTE.PA, TTE.L) took full ownership of the Grandpuits advanced plastics recycling plant in Seine-et-Marne, France, after it agreed to acquire the remaining 35% interest it did not own. The French energy company, which already holds a 65% interest in the plant, is acquiring the stake from Plastic Energy as the latter restructures its shareholding, according to a Friday release. The plant, which started production in March, has the capacity to process 15,000 tons of plastic waste annually, converting it into synthetic oil through a pyrolysis process.
