UBS to Purchase $8 Billion of Notes Under Upsized Tender Offer

06:03 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- UBS Group (UBSG.SW) will purchase an aggregate principal amount of $7.93 billion of notes under concurrent tender offers for nine series of notes. The Swiss lender said Friday it also raised the maximum purchase consideration for six series of notes to $5.85 billion from $4 billion. The offers expired on Thursday, with settlement of the transaction set for Sept. 14. The offers covered 7.375% fixed-rate reset senior callable notes due 2033, 6.442% fixed-rate/floating rate senior callable notes due 2028, 4.282% senior notes due 2028, and six additional series of outstanding senior callable notes maturing in 2029, 2031, and 2033.
