09:16 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Jersey Electricity plc (JEL.L) and Guernsey Electricity's jointly owned Channel Islands Electricity Grid signed a new electricity supply agreement with France-based EDF. The four-year deal takes effect on Jan. 1, 2028, following the expiration of the companies' current arrangement on Dec. 31, 2027, according to a Friday release.
