02:35 AM EDT, 09/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis (STLAM.MI, STLAP.PA) will inject over 1 billion euros into the manufacturing of a new van at its plant in Hordain, France, Bloomberg News reported Sept. 11, citing people familiar with the situation. Besides revamping the existing facility, the European carmaker will fund research and development to enable the new vehicle production, which is part of the wider restructuring of Stellantis' European operations. The planned overhaul is expected to generate annual savings of 6 billion euros by 2028 alongside the launch of new models. Stellantis did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
