12:46 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- United Cooperative Assurance Co. (SASE:8190) said Sunday that the Commercial Court in Riyadh accepted to register one of its creditor's application to start liquidation proceedings against the company. The insurance company added that the acceptance only means the launch of judicial consideration under the provisions of the bankruptcy law and its implementing regulations and does not imply a final ruling or issuance of a decision to begin the liquidation proceedings. United Cooperative Assurance plans to file legal defenses, objections, and financial reorganization proceedings, and will take required regulatory and legal measures to protect its interests and shareholders.
