(HMI.L), via its Scanty Mineração subsidiary, signed a 24-month technical-scientific cooperation agreement with Serviço Geológico do Brasil, or SGB. The agreement will focus primarily on assessing the rare earth element potential across areas within the Capão Bonito, Carambeí, Cerro Azul and Sguário Granite projects as part of efforts to research mineral commodities considered critical or strategic for Brazil, according to a Monday filing. The resource company said it will incur no cost and will secure access to data or results generated for work requested by the country's geoscience institution.
