10:04 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Riyadh Cement Co (SASE:3092) plans to purchase solar energy from Samana Energy under a new 25-year agreement, according to a Monday filing. Under the contract, the cement company will buy energy from Samana at a price lower than its current electricity generation cost. Average annual payments under the deal are expected to reach 6 million Saudi riyals, excluding value-added tax. The power generation system is set to start up in the fourth quarter of 2027.
