EP Group Files Takeover Offer for Fnac Darty with European Commission

12:12 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Fnac Darty (FNAC.PA) said Monday that EP Group filed its takeover proposal for the company with the European Commission, anticipating the conclusion of the first-phase review in early November. EP Group is offering to acquire the French retail group's outstanding shares for 35 euros per share, after a 1-euro dividend per share, and convertible bonds for 81.16 euros per convertible bond. The French financial markets regulator, Autorité des marchés financiers, approved the offer on May 7, with closing still subject to European Commission approval. Completion is expected by the end of 2026.
