12:37 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Novo Nordisk's (NOVO-B.CO) collaboration with Ascendis Pharma covering TransCon technology-based products in metabolic and cardiovascular diseases will be terminated, returning all related rights to the latter. The rights include those covering once-monthly TransCon Semaglutide, which Ascendis plans to advance as a potential treatment for obesity and type 2 diabetes, according to a Monday release. The termination will also end the companies' financial obligations under the deal. The companies announced the collaboration in November 2024.
