01:37 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Prysmian (PRY.MI) said Tuesday it secured US antitrust clearance for its proposed acquisition of New York-listed electrical and infrastructure company Atkore for an implied enterprise value of $3.8 billion. The Italian cable company added that the waiting period under the US Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 for the proposed takeover expired on Monday. The deal remains subject to approval by Atkore shareholders with at least a majority of the outstanding shares, along with other applicable regulatory authorizations and customary conditions.
