Italian Trade Surplus Rises in July

04:28 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Italy recorded a trade surplus of 8.24 billion euros in July, up from the revised surplus of 4.34 billion euros in June, according to data from statistics agency Istat published Tuesday. Analysts expected a trade surplus of 4.77 billion euros for the month. Seasonally adjusted exports climbed 0.3% month over month, while imports declined 1.2%.
