Eurozone Trade Surplus Rises in July

05:17 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The euro area recorded a trade surplus of 14.2 billion euros in July, up from the revised surplus of 7.2 billion euros in the previous month, according to Eurostat data published Tuesday. The consensus estimate for the month was 3.7 billion euros. Exports of goods to the rest of the world grew 9% year over year to 276 billion euros, while imports rose 7.9% to 261.8 billion euros.
