06:35 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Italian energy company Eni (ENI.MI) signed a memorandum of understanding with Senegal's Ministry of Energy to explore the oil and gas potential of five offshore blocks. El Hadji Abdourahmane Diouf, the nation's energy minister, said in an X post on Tuesday that Eni will conduct preliminary studies at offshore blocks SN01M, SN02M, SN03M, SN07M, and SN40M.
