08:11 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hotels in Switzerland recorded a 2.1% year-over-year decline in overnight stays for August, according to a flash estimate published by the Federal Statistical Office on Tuesday. Hotel bookings by Swiss nationals were down 1.9% on an annual basis, while bookings from foreigners fell 2.2%.
