04:33 AM EDT, 09/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Filtronic (FTC.L) secured an $8 million follow-on order for the design, development and construction of prototype units for satellites from an undisclosed US customer. The contract for mmWave satellite payload technology follows an $8 million order for amplifier technology in March and an initial development contract worth $500,000 in June from the same unnamed client, according to a Wednesday release. The British manufacturer of radio frequency systems expects to complete the contract in the first half of 2028.
