06:10 AM EDT, 09/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Stora Enso (STEAV.HE, STERV.HE) permanently shut down production at its Veitsiluoto sawmill in Kemi, Finland, resulting in the redundancy of around 60 workers. The Finnish forest industry company said Wednesday it concluded negotiations on the closure as part of an effort to improve the efficiency and profitability of its sawmill operations.
