02:25 AM EDT, 09/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Wärtsilä (WRT1V.HE) signed an agreement to form a framework with Tokyo Gas Engineering Solutions for data center power supply projects in Japan. The memorandum of understanding will see the parties evaluate and develop initial technical concepts for gas- or dual-fuel engine-based power generation projects for data centers, according to a Thursday release. The marine and energy industry technology company entered the memorandum of understanding in August.
