DENVER, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- SecureNet Solutions Group has filed a patent infringement action against Flock Safety to protect its rights in technology developed and patented by SecureNet's inventors, technology that SecureNet alleges is fundamental to Flock's suite of products. The complaint alleges that Flock's products infringe at least seven patents owned by SecureNet.

SecureNet's team were early pioneers in the development of computerized security and surveillance systems. They recognized that conventional surveillance architectures faced significant technical limitations as systems expanded to accommodate growing volumes of data and increasing numbers and types of cameras, sensors, and other networked devices. SecureNet developed technological solutions designed to overcome those limitations and enable surveillance systems to operate effectively at greater scale and complexity.

SecureNet's patents describe specific technological improvements to the way computerized surveillance systems process, organize, and use information generated by networked security devices, including event-driven system operation and the coordinated use of distributed surveillance resources.

SecureNet alleges widespread infringement of its patented technology across Flock's connected surveillance platform and related products and services.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, alleges that Flock incorporates SecureNet's patented technology throughout its connected surveillance ecosystem, including its license-plate-reader cameras, Vehicle Fingerprint technology, FlockOS Real-Time Crime Center platform, Enhanced LPR software, Raven audio-detection devices, and related products and services.
