Pleasing Signs As A Number Of Insiders Buy EC Healthcare Stock

It is usually uneventful when a single insider buys stock. However, When quite a few insiders buy shares, as it happened in EC Healthcare's (HKG:2138) case, it's fantastic news for shareholders.

Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions, we do think it is perfectly logical to keep tabs on what insiders are doing.

EC Healthcare Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Notably, that recent purchase by Chi Fai Tang is the biggest insider purchase of EC Healthcare shares that we've seen in the last year. So it's clear an insider wanted to buy, at around the current price, which is HK$0.52. While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. While we always like to see insider buying, it's less meaningful if the purchases were made at much lower prices, as the opportunity they saw may have passed. In this case we're pleased to report that the insider purchases were made at close to current prices.

Insiders At EC Healthcare Have Bought Stock Recently

Over the last quarter, EC Healthcare insiders have spent a meaningful amount on shares. Overall, two insiders shelled out HK$861k for shares in the company -- and none sold. This makes one think the business has some good points.
