02:51 AM EDT, 09/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe lifted its price target and EPS projections for Ipsen (IPN.PA) to reflect the French biopharmaceutical company's "solid" first-half operational performance and the "significant" full-year 2026 outlook upgrade. In a Thursday note, the research firm raised its EPS assumptions for 2026 and 2027 to 12.1 euros and 12.2 euros, respectively, from 10.6 euros and 11 euros. The revision was attributed to robust performance across most offerings, which led to the guidance upgrade, alongside Ipsen's efficiency gains and a "favorable" product mix. After posting a 23.5% constant-currency surge in first-half total sales to 2.19 billion euros, Ipsen raised its 2026 total sales growth target to more than 20% at constant exchange rates, up from its previous guidance of over 13%. "Although our estimates have increased by double digits, the target price has been raised at a lower rate due to Ipsen's near- and mid-term risks. These risks include the impact of generics on Somatuline from 2027 and the patent expiry for Cabometyx from 2029. Nonetheless, we maintain a positive recommendation, supported by the expansion of the late-stage pipeline, label expansions, and potential inorganic growth opportunities," AlphaValue/Baader Europe wrote. Accordingly, analysts raised their price target for the add-rated stock to 204 euros from 197 euros.
