03:33 AM EDT, 09/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Law-focused finance and asset manager Burford Capital (BUR.L) completed a $300 million debt issue, according to a Thursday release published Friday. The company intends to use the proceeds to repay its $400 million debt due in April 2028 next week. It will fully cover the repayment with an additional $100 million cash on hand. The company said the repayment will trim $100 million off its total outstanding debt, with the next maturity not until after three years.
