Italian Current Account Surplus Climbs in July

04:38 AM EDT, 09/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Italy's current account surplus rose to 7.38 billion euros in July from a revised surplus of 5.82 billion euros in June. In the 12 months to July, the Italian current account surplus totaled 29.9 billion euros, against 22.2 billion euros in the previous year, according to data from the Bank of Italy published Friday.
