Element Fleet Management Corp. (TSE:EFN) shareholders (or potential shareholders) will be happy to see that the CEO, President & Director, Laura Dottori-Attanasio, recently bought a whopping CA$1.0m worth of stock, at a price of CA$25.24. Aside from being a solid chunk in its own right, the deft move also saw their holding increase by some 10%.
In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the insider, Jacob Eisenberg, sold CA$2.4m worth of shares at a price of CA$26.26 per share. That means that an insider was selling shares at around the current price of CA$25.20. While insider selling is a negative, to us, it is more negative if the shares are sold at a lower price. We note that this sale took place at around the current price, so it isn't a major concern, though it's hardly a good sign. Jacob Eisenberg was the only individual insider to sell over the last year.
In the last twelve months insiders purchased 166.82k shares for CA$4.8m. On the other hand they divested 90.86k shares, for CA$2.4m. Overall, Element Fleet Management insiders were net buyers during the last year. They paid about CA$28.59 on average.
