06:12 AM EDT, 09/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Volkswagen (VOW.F, VOW3.F) revised its outlook for 2026 amid Porsche AG (P911.F) unit's non-cash impairment worth 6 billion, restructuring costs, and other reasons. The German carmaker noted that the effects, which also include market challenges in China, can reach up to 10 billion euros on its operating earnings for 2026, according to a Sept. 18 release. The company expects its operating return on sales to reach up to 1%, compared with the previous guidance of 4% and 5.5%. Group sales revenue is expected to be 315 billion euros, which is broadly aligned with the middle point of its previous guidance of a -3% to 0% development.
