PETALING JAYA: Powerwell Holdings Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Powerwell International Sdn Bhd has secured two purchase orders (POs) totalling RM190.4mil in value for the supply and delivery of low-voltage (LV) switchgear and related equipment for a data centre project in Johor.

The homegrown power distribution specialist said the POs were awarded by a returning customer.

Building on its record financial performance in financial year 2026 (FY26), Powerwell said the wins reaffirmed its upward trajectory, marking an encouraging start to FY27.

“The POs are expected to contribute positively to the group from the current financial year ending March 31, 2027 (FY27) until the end of FY28,” it said.

Powerwell said the latest wins lifted its order book from RM268.9mil at the end of June 2026. Its tender pipeline remains supported by opportunities across the data centre, renewable energy, semiconductor and infrastructure sectors.

The group is also expanding its manufacturing capacity to meet growing demand while monitoring market and macroeconomic conditions.
