Broadcom, Cisco, Arista Networks And A Financial Stock On CNBC’s ‘Final Trades’

On CNBC’s “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Rob Sechan, CEO of NewEdge Wealth, picked Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ:AVGO).

On the earnings front, Broadcom reported better-than-expected third-quarter fiscal 2026 results on Sept. 2. Broadcom posted third-quarter revenue of $29.59 billion, beating analyst estimates of $29.36 billion. The company reported adjusted earnings of $3.32 per share for the quarter, beating estimates of $3.24 per share, according to Benzinga Pro.

Jason Snipe, founder and chief investment officer of Odyssey Capital Advisors, named Arista Networks, Inc. (NYSE:ANET) as his final trade.

Supporting his choice, Deutsche Bank analyst Gianmarco Conti initiated coverage on Arista Networks on Sept. 1 with a Buy rating and a price target of $220.

Jim Lebenthal, partner and chief market strategist at Cerity Partners, recommended Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO).

Supporting his view, Deutsche Bank analyst Gianmarco Conti initiated coverage on Cisco on Sept. 1 with a Buy rating and set a price target of $135.

Amy Raskin, chief investment officer at Chevy Chase Trust, picked Itaú Unibanco Holding S.A. (NYSE:ITUB).

Itaú Unibanco, on Aug. 4, reported second-quarter earnings of 21 cents per share, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of 22 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $9.186 billion, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $9.400 billion.

  • Broadcom shares gained 3% to close at $357.61 on Friday.
  • Arista shares slipped 0.1% to close at $199.39.
  • Cisco shares fell 0.7% to settle at $109.51 on Friday.
