11:48 PM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Moody's on Monday maintained Arab National Bank's (SASE:1080) A1 long-term deposit ratings while keeping the outlook stable. The rating move follows the affirmation of the Tadawul-listed lender's baa1 baseline credit assessment as Moody's expects ANB to maintain its robust performance and resilient asset quality over the next 12 to 18 months. It also reflects the company's significance to the Saudi banking system, and the rating agency's expectation of support from the government of Saudi Arabia. The stable outlook, meanwhile, indicates Moody's view that the bank will retain robust capital and liquidity buffers to counter a potential decline in asset quality and profitability. It also mirrors the stable outlook on Saudi Arabia.
