01:18 AM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Deutsche Bank's (DBK.F) asset manager is assessing various measures to discourage investors from leaving three open-ended Grundbesitz funds in Germany, London's Financial Times reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter. The unnamed sources said DWS is considering imposing limits on redemptions and penalty fees under new European Union regulations. Since 2022, the three property funds have collectively paid out 6 billion euros to the investors, the report noted, citing fund disclosures. The potential measures come as Germany's financial regulator warned of more funds suspending redemptions amid rising outflows, the report added. The German lender and DWS did not immediately respond to requests for comments from MT Newswires. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
