03:14 AM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Asta Energy Solutions (1AST.F, 1AST.VI) said Tuesday it plans to invest 17 million euros in a new copper recycling platform at its Oed site in Austria. The facility will produce copper wire from recycled material, with the first machinery expected to be ordered in 2026 and production scheduled to begin by the end of 2029. The high-precision copper solutions company expects the project to reduce its reliance on external copper suppliers and support its goal of increasing recycled copper to 70% of its production by 2030.
