06:53 AM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Dassault Aviation (AM.PA) said Tuesday it flight-tested two new sovereign artificial intelligence algorithms integrated into its Rafale fighter jet. The French aerospace company added that it developed the first AI algorithm internally and collaborated with defense technology company Thales (HO.PA) and its cortAIx accelerator for the second system. The initiative aims to incorporate "controlled and supervised" AI technology into the cockpit in future upgrades of the aircraft to assist the human crew.
