08:16 AM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hotels in Switzerland recorded a 1.9% year-over-year decline in overnight stays for August, according to the Federal Statistical Office's second estimate published Tuesday. Hotel bookings by Swiss nationals were down 1.4% on an annual basis, while bookings from foreigners fell 2.3%.
