Saudi Arabia Regulator Seeks Public Feedback on Proposed Updates to IPO Rules

12:33 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi Arabia's Capital Market Authority is seeking public feedback on proposed regulatory updates for the kingdom's initial public offering practices to improve transparency and accountability throughout the offering and pricing process, according to a Tuesday release. The regulator's proposed reforms include bid verification, enhanced underwriter responsibility, and mandatory disclosure of forward-looking financial statements and forecasts, among others. The consultation period ends on Oct. 22.
