03:56 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Alstom (ALO.PA) secured a contract for the delivery of up to 100 Traxx Shunter locomotives, according to a Wednesday release. RIVE Private Investment's Northrail, which placed the order, will use the locomotives in Germany. Alstom will start the delivery of the France-manufactured units by the end of 2029. The French rail and transport equipment company added that the deal, which includes 10 years of maintenance services, has options for additional locomotives, as well as a maintenance agreement extension.
