Citi published a report raising Micron Technology's target price from $1,150 to $1,300, maintaining a “buy” rating. The forecast anticipates that due to strong demand for memory driven by artificial intelligence, the DRAM and NAND market will continue to be in short supply, and maintain the view that DRAM and NAND prices will slow down in the next four quarters and may peak in the second quarter of 2027. The bank also indicated that although consumer demand for NAND is weakening due to limited supply from PC and mobile phone customers, demand for continuous learning and AI reasoning will support enterprise-level SSD demand and offset consumer NAND's weakness. Assuming that the bank recently raised NAND and DRAM pricing, it is expected that the average sales price of hybrid DRAM in the August and November quarters will increase by 20% and 13%, respectively, and that the average sales price of hybrid NAND will increase by 34% and 15%, respectively, from quarter to quarter.
