01:33 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Acwa Power's (SASE:2082) 40%-owned Qudra One for Electricity Co. was allowed to begin commercial operation of the initial units of the Qassim 1 combined cycle power plant in Saudi Arabia. The initial units have a generation capacity of 1,283 megawatts, while the total project's capacity is 1,896 MW, the Tadawul-listed utility company said Thursday.
