03:18 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Harworth Group (HWG.L) said Thursday that Peel Group's ownership of the company amounted to 98,283,957 shares, or 30.06% of its issued share capital, as of the 28th day of the takeover offer. As of Wednesday, Peel Group, through Peel Holdings Group's Peel Pepper (UK), received acceptances from shareholders representing 97,888,439 shares, or 29.94% of the issued share capital, of the London-listed property developer for its offer of 1.725 pounds sterling per share. Shareholders of the target, who are yet to accept the revised offer, have until Oct. 25 to do so.
