The Clearwater, Florida-based company said it had net income of $5.18 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $5.68 per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $4.64 per share.

The high-tech contractor posted revenue of $21.56 billion in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $18.78 billion.

For the current quarter ending in November, TD SYNNEX expects its per-share earnings to range from $5.65 to $6.15.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $21.8 billion to $22.6 billion for the fiscal fourth quarter.
