08:55 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Gigasun (GIGA.ST) said Thursday that its China-based subsidiary signed a 20-year agreement with a building materials company for the installation of a 0.6-megawatt solar power plant in Sichuan Province, China. The 2.6 million-krona facility will be owned and operated by the Swedish solar energy company's units and is expected to generate revenue of 290,000 kronor per year, or 5.8 million kronor throughout the contract term. Construction of the project is slated to start in the fourth quarter. In addition to the new order, a recently installed and commissioned project brings Gigasun's overall installed capacity to 408 megawatts.
